Upon entering her school's assembly on March 25th, Monica Kasch presumed her students and colleagues had gathered to deliberate on Horizon School Academy's achievements. Unbeknownst to her, the entire school had united to honor her.

Welcome

Horizon Science Academy Des Moines features a curriculum focused on STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math), small class sizes, and building a school community. HSA is a tuition-free, non-selective, non-profit public charter school. Opened in August of 2023 for its first school year, serving students in kindergarten through 3rd grade. Join them for year 2 (2024-2025) for grades K-4.
