On Jan 12, the Iowa State Board of Education unanimously approved the charter application for Horizon Science Academy Des Moines.

Up next will be the formal ratification of the charter agreement between the State Board of Ed and the HSA DSM Governing Board. The State already has a draft charter agreement in hand, and it should be finalized within the next few weeks.
